i dnt kno if this already known but i jus came across it.

press DOWN (dont slide..."press") on the bump(the lil thing ment 2 slide cover off) rather than pushin up(sliding it)

then, put ur fingernail on the rim of the cameras lens(the batteries cover) and slide it up, while still pressing down on the bottom bump....

hope this helps

here i am not talking about Samsung Galaxy, i have recently purchased the Motorola Droid 3 and it is having the operating system of android 2.3 that means it is based on the gingerbread operating system. But there is a simple problem I was feeling very embarrassment for asking the simple question. And the problem is that I was not able to remove the cover of the mobile. This is very stupid question but I want the answers. Please help me in solving the problem. Thanking all in advanced for helping me and giving me the suggestions.

Does any have any idea to remove HD Mini's battery.
I tried the way which HTC provided but it's really hard to remove.
i just found a easy way to remove it and guys if you have any better idea please kind share it.

Here is what i found the way to remove cover:
1. Hold the device on hand and
2. slightly press/push the uppper screw (either left or right side )and you will find how easy it is to remove battery from device.
